About Our Organization
Risalah School of Excellence (RISE) is an independent School approved by the WA State Board of Education. Our school strives for excellence encompassing academics and character building, all through an Islamic lens. RISE opened it’s doors for grades 6 , 7, 8, & 9th for the academic year 2026/2027 with plans to expand up to 10th grade the following year.
RISE is a Candidate School for the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP). We are pursuing authorization as an IB World School. These are schools that share a common philosophy—a commitment to high-quality, challenging, international education that RISE believes is important for our students. We are also a member of CISNA, council of islamic schools in north america.
As a non-profit, RISE services extend beyond our student population, through after-school and weekend programs serving all ages.

Rooted in the teachings of the Quran and Hadith, we understand that excellence (Ihsan) isn’t confined to religious practice alone but extends to all aspects of life. Our mission is to cultivate individuals who excel not only in their faith but also in their contributions to society, embodying the holistic approach advocated by Islam.
