Endowment (Waqf) – Sadaqah Jariyah for Islamic Education
From the earliest vision of RISE, long-term sustainability has been a core priority. The school has begun establishing an endowment to provide stable funding for academic programs, teacher development, and student financial aid on the long run.
We are building something meant to last. An endowment, a waqf that will sustain Islamic education for generations to come.
A fund that continues to give, year after year.
An Enowment – waqf – is a permanent charitable trust dedicated to the public good

Endowment Strategy
Our long-term strategy is to contribute $150,000 annually allowing the endowment to build and compound over time. As the fund matures, it will support academic programs, teacher development, and student financial aid. Beginning around year ten to fifteen, RISE may responsibly draw 4–6% of the endowment’s annual returns, helping sustain operations while preserving and continuing to grow the principal for future generations.

Why This Matters
Most schools rely on tuition and yearly donations.
That creates pressure.
And limits growth.
An endowment changes that, It allows RISE to:
- Plan with long-term stability
- Support more students regardless of financial background
- Invest in academic excellence and facilities
- Retain qualified teachers by offering comeptitive pay
Tuition sustains today.
The endowment secures tomorrow.

“The example of those who spend their wealth in the way of Allah is like a seed that grows seven ears; in every ear is a hundred grains. And Allah multiplies for whom He wills.”
— Surah Al-Baqarah (2:261)
What Is the RISE Endowment (Waqf)?
The RISE Endowment Fund is a long-term, Shariah-aligned investment (waqf) created to support Islamic education for generations.
- Your donation is invested, not spent
- The principal remains protected
